INTERNATIONAL SYMPOSIUM ON MULTI-HAZARD AND RISK 2015 - 30 March 2015

Introduction

ISMHR 2015 was brought together by UTM Razak School of Engineering and Advanced Technology, UTM Kuala Lumpur, the Minerals and Geoscience Department Malaysia (JMG), Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment Malaysia, Southeast Asia Disaster Prevention Research Initiative (SEADPRI), Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia and University of Twente, the Netherlands (with cooperation of the United Nations University UNU-DRM Centre for spatial Analysis and Disaster Risk Management) with the great support of ISMHR2015 Platinum Sponsor IDS Corporation and RDG Supply Sdn. Bhd.

In this event, IDS was introduced ground based radar include ground penetrating radar for example: Opera Duo use for underground detection and mapping and RIS Hi-BrigHT, the only dedicated radar solution for bridge deck surveying. Interferometry and synthetic aperture radar for example IBIS-FS, use for structure Monitoring and IBIS-FL for Landslide Monitoring. IDS also introduce UAVs system SD-150 Hero, IA-3 Colibri and IA-12 Stark.
